The European Petrochemical Association (EPCA) is a Brussels-based organisation counting more than 500 members representing the top global petrochemical producers, their major international service providers as well as their suppliers and customers. It has two categories of members: Full and Associate Members. The Full Members are producers of petrochemicals in Europe. The Associate Members are producers who do not have production facilities in Europe and major service groups which can contribute to the achievement of the objectives of EPCA.
The logistics service providers include transport and storage companies, traders, distributors, freight forwarders, port authorities, engineering and construction companies, inspection companies and consulting firms active in the petrochemical business.
The group of transport service providers is composed of shipowners, shipbrokers, road transport companies, rail transport companies, multi-logistics transport companies, terminal operators and tank cleaning companies transporting chemicals, gases, petroleum products, bulk, liquids, ADR and packed goods.
As an important service provider to the petrochemical industry, EPCA offers to its members global networking opportunities via its “platform to meet” - activities and other contact possibilities. EPCA also communicates matters of interest and relevance to its members with a view to exchange opinions and experiences and to permit the performance of comparative studies within the industry, all of which are in accordance with applicable competition laws.
