EPCA - CENTRE FOR SUPPLY CHAIN EXPERTISE
The European chemical industry is a global leader. EPCA initiates, facilitates and promotes ideas and projects that support the continued leadership of the European chemical industry for the future via seminars, scholarships, round table sessions, working groups and think tank where specific subjects of interest to the industry are debated, analysed and promoted. These platforms are open to members and non-members and may be cross-sectoral and shared with service providers.
In this way, EPCA members can :
- engage in dialogue with the most important partners in petrochemicals and with top speakers of global renown
- have the opportunity to raise particular issues affecting the petrochemical business, or to see them discussed by key people who can contribute to positive change
- update themselves on new trends and developments in the business community, including logistics and supply chain management.
Underlying the further development of sustainable global leadership by the European chemical industry, EPCA advocates a mentality shift in the organisation of supply chain management toward smoother cooperation between producers, service providers, the different transport modes and closer alignment with logistic service providers (LSPs) of the industry.
